About Us

We believe our dog, Sydney, has the coolest sooper powers.  Okay, so she doesn’t fly; even though she really, really wants to.  She can’t see through walls, or reverse the spin of our planet like some other caped characters.  And no, she doesn’t swing from skyscrapers by thin organic fibers.  But, without fail, she can always make people SMILE.  Yup, that wagging tail can make anyone’s day brighter.  She’s got the power of infinite happiness~ pretty amazing, eh?  We believe that Sydney is not alone.  We think that every dog and cat has their own unique powers that help to make them our heroes.  As their caretakers it’s our responsibility to keep our heroes in shape so they are ready when signaled to action.

That’s why we opened Sooper Dogs: a shop for all your hero’s supplies.  Sooper Dogs is a place to bring your pal to power them up with wholesome food, tasty treats, great gear and lots of friendly pats.  We keep your pet’s best interest in mind when selecting everything we carry in our store.

We realize that two tails are always better than one, and a League of Sooper Pals can bring some serious fun and fur to town!  So, we’re hoping dogs and cats from all over will unite in our store to serve the people of Saco, Biddeford and beyond.  You can do your part by bringing them along and joining us for special Nutrition Nights, Yappy Hours, Wednesday Walkies and Storytime with Sydney.  See our events page for details.  We think Main St. could become the new Mutt-rocenter of the Universe!  And of course, help us support local shelters and animal rescue leagues in Maine, because even heroes need to be rescued from time to time.
